    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

I’m Canadian but have lived here for 40 years. The property is 150 acres with about 12 homes on it. We have regular community events and we’re generally a happy group. My own property will have other people staying on it to help build the domes so that should be a lot of fun too. I speak French and would love to speak with other French people.

On the big property, there would be whipper snipping, pulling out Lantana, mowing, maybe some painting or general maintenance. We always have something to do on the property. On my own place we’ll be building Aircrete Domes using very light bricks. It’ll be a lot of fun and not too hard work. Look at Aircrete Domes Australia to see how the domes are made.

I was a French teacher for 26 years and I was born in Quebec so I can speak both Quebecois (not as well) and French from France. I’d love to learn some Spanish too.

    Accommodation

I will either have a tiny house, a rooftop tent or a Gypsy wagon or later a dome for you to sleep in. I’m an okay cook but I do a lot of healthy foods so if you love junk food, you may not always love some of my creations like avocado cacao pudding, etc.

    What else ...

Transport on the property would be fairly easy because someone is always heading into the small town of Canungra. If you have your own transport that’s easier for you but we can work around it. Brisbane and the Gold Coast are under an hour away so you could pop out for your days off. There are lots of hikes here in the mountains and fabulous markets. Mount Tamborine has lots of artsy things and it’s really beautiful.
