  • Description

We are a group of social activists/software engineers building a community where we can have a healthy lifestyle and develop software applications/tools to make the world a better place for all.

The idea is to make a natural living space with good food for energy, good friends (animals too) for socializing and interesting projects for a purpose.

The property is 14Ha about 10km from Lake Arenal in Costa Rica. It's bordered by two rivers and a 240Ha protected reserve. It's between two volcanoes, Tenorio and Arenal. The first building 27m x 10m structure, under one roof. It includes a large working space (open air), kitchen (open air), chill lounge and mezzanine. The second building is a 90 square meters octagonal movement space facing Tenorio (It's a shy volcano so we are very happy when it opens up). The third structure is the sleeping quarters, it includes five private rooms and two big dorms. And the fourth structure is the garage, wood storage, woodworking space and the bodega.

After a year of building we are moving to the property. As mentioned above we have five private rooms and two dorms.
Mostly vegan meals prepared collectively. Sometimes the neighbor has eggs and yogurt for us.
Many toys around: music instruments, slackline, few cool books and so on.

I'm assuming you have done the research to know that this area is a beautiful part of Costa Rica. We are located between Lake Arenal, Arenal Volcano and Tenorio National Park. The bus passes about 1.5km away that take you to Nuevo Arenal. A lot of things to do in the area, I don't even know most of them. To mention some: hot rivers, colorful rivers, Kite surfing, paddle boarding (we have one you can use), zip lining, so much hiking, cloud forests, crazy tree climbing and so on. Beach is not far away, we also have a long board that you can use. Btw, we like to have fun as well so if you would have good ideas, we will not resist much.
