Help with fun outdoor projects in County Sligo, Ireland

  Description

  I have a small 2 bed house in rural county Sligo. Myself and my wife use it as a holiday home with our two dogs. I am retired after spending most of my working life in engineering. My wife still works part time and wont always be at the house. We are close to the Ox mountains and the wild Atlantic way there are plenty of mountain, forest and beach walks. The roads around the house are very quite and suitable for an evening stroll. I am also happy to give local lifts as the house is not on a bus route.

  Having worked in engineering for all of my working life I have gained a lot of knowledge which I am happy to pass on. As we have dogs our social activities are mainly outdoors, walking or relaxing at the beach. As a keen angler I am happy to take someone fishing. Having already hosted in the North of Ireland we have found the experience to be very rewarding and have always enjoyed meeting other people and learning about their culture.

  Help

  We are looking for help with outside help and gardening. We would also like some help with light creative redecorating and other internal projects. For the most part we would be working together and hopefully sharing our skills.

  Accommodation

  The accommodation would be in a small double bedroom with a double bed with a bunk bed above. Shared bathroom with a bath and shower over. Or if you prefer we can offer a 4 person tent with bedding for 2 people. Main meals will be provided, food preparation and cooking will be shared. If you have any food preferences we would do what we can to accommodate them.

  We try to be as flexible as possible regarding work hours and are happy to offer local lifts to trains or buses. Please note the house is strictly non smoking.
