    Hello Volunteers!

this is a small hotel with 10 rooms in Ollantaytambo in the sacred valley near Cusco.

Would you like to live in the last inhabited Inca City in Peru? If so, this might be the perfect place for you!

Ollantaytambo is a living, immaculately and well preserved Inca village with original streets, structures and still flowing canals.
It is a wonderful little town to explore as are the ruins, just a short 5 minute walk from the center of town.

Ollantaytambo is a special place, surrounded by mountains and crossed by rivers; people can meet the locals and practice Spanish, it is also possible that they know our Quechua ancestral language. You can learn from our current culture and our ancestors the Incas, here you can find traces of the Inca civilization as the ruins of the fortress of Ollantaytambo. Do not wait any longer to get to know ollantaytambo

We are looking for friendly, responsible and committed people, preferably a couple, to help us at the reception.
We are seeking volunteers who can speak and write fluent English and some basic Spanish or better is preferred.

Most of the time you will be required at the reception, dealing with guests, answering the phone, and registering new bookings.

We are looking for someone who likes helping people, loves passing on information and wants to make our guests feel at home at our small hotel.

We require you to work 4 - 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. Hours are flexible, days off too. If you want to work through two of your days off, then spend 4 hiking to Machu Picchu, we can make that happen.
We are seeking a minimum of a one month stay, but may consider 2 week applications.

    Friendly and presentable.
Quick to learn, focused and motivated.
Good English and basic Spanish required
    At least some computer skills.

    Private room with bathroom.
We will give you a weekly or monthly a lunch credit for days that you are volunteering at the hotel, which will cover lunch at one of the local restaurants and for breakfast and dinner you are welcome to use the kitchen.
An abundance of Inka sites and beauty spots to hike and explore on your free time.

We look forward to hearing from you,

    What else ...

There is plenty to do in Ollantaytambo. It is a great place to set off for dayhikes or catch a colectivo up to one of the quechua villages in the mountains. Othyer main sights in the Sacred Valley are easy to reach from here on your days off. We can arrange for you to have time off to hike the Machu Picchu trail if you would rather work through your days off one week and save them for the week after.
