Description
We live in downtown Bogotá. From here, we strive to apply the principles of permaculture to our daily lives. I'm grateful to live in this welcoming place in the midst of a hostile urban environment. Little by little, we've made improvements to feel more at home with our interests and principles. My partner enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and interacting with plants. I studied architecture. I'm interested in construction and carpentry.
Vivimos en el centro de Bogotá. Desde aquí procuramos aplicar en nuestra cotidianidad los principios de la permacultura. Me siento agradecido de vivir en este acogedor lugar en medio de un hostil entorno urabano. Poco a poco hemos hecho intervenciones para sentirnos más a gusto con nuestros intereses y principios. A mi compañera le gusta experimentar en la cocina e interactuar con las plantas. Yo estudié arquitectura. Me interesa la construcción y la carpintería.

Every day we do something different. We prefer to develop each small project slowly and try to enjoy the process. We like to go for walks in the park, play sports, and frequently hike in the mountains or through wetlands. Some days, friends come to visit us.
Cada día hacemos algo diferente. Preferimos ir desarrollando tranquilamente cada pequeño proyecto y procuramos disfrutar en el proceso. Nos gusta salir a hacer caminatas al parque, salir a jugar algun deporte, frecuentemente vamos a caminatas a la montaña o a los humedales. Algunos días vienen a visitarnos amigxs.

Help
We want to make our home a replicable model for living in an urban environment in a more harmonious way. On a daily basis, we have small projects: adapting low-tech devices, maintaining and organizing the space, carpentry projects, repairing and maintaining tools, cooking with local and wild ingredients, and caring for the plants we live with.
We hope volunteers will support us in some of the aforementioned tasks; this may vary depending on what we are developing each week. We would also like to produce audiovisual content to publish on social media and show a bit of our project to people with similar interests.
Queremos hacer de nuestro hogar un modelo replicable para vivir en un entorno urbano de una manera un poco más armonica. En el día a día tenemos pequeños proyectos de adaptaciones de dispositivos low tech, mantenimiento y orden del espacio, proyectos de carpintería, reparación y mantenimiento de herramientas, cocina con ingredientes locales y silvestres, cuidado de las plantas con las que vivimos.
Esperamos apoyo de lxs voluntarixs es en alguna de las labores mencionadas anteriormente , puede variar según lo que estemos desarrollando cada semana. También nos gustaría producir contenido audiovisual para publicarlo en redes sociales y mostrar un poco de nuestro proyecto a personas con intereses afines.

In addition to our local language, Spanish, we are open to communicating in English. Además de nuestro idioma local, e español, estamos abiertos a comunicarnos en ingles.
Accommodation
We offer a private room with good lighting and ventilation, as well as a beautiful view of the plants on the terrace. The room has a double bed (190x120cm), a desk, and storage space. We usually prepare our daily meal mid-morning. We usually eat two or three times a day depending on the work we're doing. We're also open to negotiating schedules with volunteers.
Ofrecemos una habitación privada con buena iluminación y ventilación, además de una bonita visual a las plantas de la terraza. La habitación tiene una cama semidoble (190x120cm), escritorio y espacio de almacenamiento. Nosotros acostumbramos a preparar la comida del día a media mañana. Acostumbramos a comer dos o tres veces al día según la labor que estemos realizando. También estamos abiertos a negociar los tiempos con lxs voluntarixs.
What else ...
We're located in the city center. There are plenty of places to visit nearby and several transportation options. We also have a bicycle available to borrow.
Estamos en el centro de la ciudad. Hay muchas opciones de lugares para visitar en las cercanias y varias opciones de transporte. Tambíen tenemos una bicicleta que podemos prestar.

We're currently using the internet very little. So we're using mobile data from our cell phone or sharing it with our computer. We're also open to purchasing a home broadband internet service if we need it. En este momento usamos poco internet. Por lo que usamos datos moviles desde nuestro celular o para compartirlos al computador. También estamos abiertos, si vemos la necesidad, a contratar un servicio de internet hogar banda ancha.
Space for parking camper vans
There are several parking options around the building where we live for all types of vehicles. There's even an option to have a view of these parking spaces from the apartment where we live. Alrededor del edificio donde vivimos hay varias opciones de parqueadero para cualquier tipo de vehiculo. Incluso hay opción de tener visual a estos parqueaderos desde el apartamento donde vivimos.
Can possibly accept pets
We may accept small pets. There's a terrace where they can stay, or they can stay in the room with you. Podríamos aceptar animales pequeños. Hay una terraza donde se podrían quedar o en la habitación con usted.
