If you can, stay here!!! I have no bad things to say about this family. Truly made my time in Spain unforgettable. A home away from home where I know I’d always be welcomed back with open arms. I spent one incredible month with this family and felt immediately like another daughter. Yolande was so flexible with my schedule and was always helping

She was also sooooo thoughtful, if I even mentioned a favorite food it would be in the refrigerator the next day! Javier is so kind, and always a friendly face when you stop by his amazing restaurant in town! It’s also so fun to practice Spanish with him, he’s very understanding of mistakes (I made many). Lastly, Noa. If I could’ve taken her home with me I would’ve. I still think she’s the best friend I made in Spain. She is so fun, hilarious, loving, adventurous, and hardworking. I still keep in touch with her and cannot wait to see the amazing women she grows into! Please take my advice and stay here, you won’t regret it!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Yolande, Javier and Noa are some of the sweetest most amazing people you will ever meet. I got to spend 3 weeks with their family and I loved it. Noa is such a sweet girl who loves ballet and Disney movies. Yolande and Javier told me all the places to go in Madrid and I had plenty of time to enjoy the city. I was able to practice my Spanish and

I've spent two adorable months with Yolande, Javier and Noa during my exchange programme in Madrid. I felt like part of the family and really enjoyed living with them! We managed to settle up a routine that worked well for both sides and they were flexible about my university timetable and also with a couple of day trips that I did in Spain and a

Yolande is a super great cooker, organized and lovely person. We got along really well and she was always making sure that I was having a good time at the house with them and helped me with everything I needed. Javier is a very friendly and positive person and I ate at his restaurant (delicious spanish food!) a few times! Noa is super smart, energetic, funny and easygoing girl - it was a pleasure to take care of her. I used to pick her up from the school bus stop 4 or 5 times a week, spent some hours with her while the parents were working and give her english lesson (always fun and full of songs!) once or twice a week.
They live at a great neighbourhood in a really nice flat, with gym and pool downstairs and walking distance from Principe Pio (huge station with many trains and metro lines). I had a private and super comfy room and we used to have delicious dinners together almost everyday.
I really admire this family and highly recommended to anyone who loves kids and would like to live in a family atmosphere in the center of Madrid :)
Thanks for everything and I already miss my time with you guys! BesosYou can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
