Description
We are a family of 3 (Antonio, Jean and little Landhe) who live in Seméstene, one of the smallest villages in the Sardinia countryside. Here, through our life project Foghiles, we are restoring kinship with inherited land, shaping new roots and practicing for becoming good future ancestors.
In our daily life we dedicate ourselves to freelance work in landscape design, dry stone practice and research, in addition to the maintenance and care of different plots of land including an old vineyard, fruit and olive orchard, and seasonal gardens.
We spend time weekly with friends from the village offering mutual support in the land, exchanging traditional knowledge and sharing glasses of local wine.
In this context, we organize encounters open to friends and guests where we celebrate seasonal transitions, exploring art, science and the freedom to create new realities. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We really believe in transgenerational and cross cultural knowledge for practice exchange. Our aim is to build an interactive environment together - going beyond language barriers - with guests, friends and people of the local community involved in experimenting with domestic and land practices.
As a guest you are welcome to bring your tales, recipes, and curiosity. -

There is a house for guests and travellers with 3 double bedrooms located on the first floor and one shared bathroom (we can host a maximum of 3 people or a family of 4 members).
In this house you will have access to:
a laundry room with washing machine and a sink;
a common space with a hot water kettle and a little fridge;
a little garden where you can harvest seasonal herbs and also leave a gift for next guests;
Meals will be in the common kitchen within 170 meters walking distance.
We will provide vegetarian base ingredients (such as pasta, rice, oil, seasonal veggies, spices) for 3 meals per day. We often prepare dinner collectively - please feel free to bring specific ingredients if you want to share a special dish.
Our varied diet included cheese, meat, eggs, and milk, but we are happy to accommodate dietary preferences. -
