Description
We are a family of three- our 2 year old son, Elio, my spouse Gregory and I, Katerina.
More than a year ago we decided to sell our house in Miami and buy a sailing boat. It is a 48' foot catamaran which is now in Nassau, Bahamas and we plan to explore the Exumas this spring/summer. We are looking for help spending time with our lovely 2.5 year old son - provide engaging activities along with basic care and safety, help cooking and cleaning and other daily tasks, provisioning and general boat keeping.
As an exchange you will learn to sail if you are interested and explore all the beauty of the islands. This is a help exchange - you pay your travel to/from the boat and we will cover food, sailing instruction and a great adventure. You would be a perfect fit if you had experience with toddlers, love being on/in water, don't get seasick and will look around for ways to help.
Sailing will be short hops between islands, most of our time will be spent anchored - exploring islands, paddle-boarding, snorkelling etc.
You will have a private cabin with a queen bed and a bathroom.
The islands of Bahamas are some of the most beautiful in the world with magical waters and sea life.
We would welcome onboard a volunteer who loves to keep things clean and organized, cooking, loves keeping healthy and active and philosophical conversations,Types of help and learning opportunities
