    Description

We're a family of three—our son Elio (who will be 4 by the time we set sail), my spouse Gregory, and me, Katerina. We're looking for a warm, proactive person to join us in the Dominican Republic and sail with us through Puerto Rico, the USVI, BVI, St. Martin, Turks and Caicos, the Abacos, and the Bahamas.

Four years ago, we traded our Miami house for a 48-foot catamaran, and we've been traveling ever since. Right now, the boat is hauled out in Aruba for some maintenance, but our next big adventure begins once we cross to the Dominican Republic—and that's where you'll come aboard.

    What we're looking for:

    · A caring, responsible person who loves children and is excited to support Elio's growth and curiosity (experience with Waldorf/Montessori/RIE is a big plus)
    · Someone proactive who takes pride in keeping spaces clean and organized
    · General help with tidying up and maintaining a comfortable living environment onboard
    · If you also enjoy cooking, that's a wonderful bonus—but it's not a requirement

    What we offer in return:

    · A private cabin with a queen bed and bathroom
    · All food and living expenses covered onboard
    · Sailing instruction, if you're interested in learning
    · An unforgettable journey through some of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean—with plenty of time for paddleboarding, snorkeling, swimming, and exploring

This is a help-exchange arrangement: you cover your travel to the Dominican Republic (and onward from the Bahamas at the end), and we cover everything once you're aboard—food, accommodation, and a truly life-changing experience.

You'll be a perfect fit if you:

    · Love the water and don't get seasick
    · Are proactive, organized, and tidy
    · Enjoy an active, healthy lifestyle
    · Are open to learning, contributing, and being part of a small, close-knit crew
    · Genuinely enjoy being around children and supporting their development

Most of our time will be spent at anchor, enjoying island life—but when we sail, we sail together. We're also looking for someone who enjoys meaningful conversation and genuine connection.

If this sounds like the adventure you've been dreaming of, we'd love to hear from you. Come be part of our floating home!
