Description
Hi workawayers, I'm Rosa and together with my Husband Corey and daughter Serena we live on a sheep and beef farm in a beautiful area of the Wairarapa. We are located 15 minutes out of Masterton, a town of 25,000. The reason we want to become workaway hosts is to give us a hand with work around our backyard and garden. We are constantly trying to get garden projects underway, but find it challenging to keep momentum with busy farm and family life. We enjoy getting to know people from all over the world, and have enjoyed travelling to many places. We have been couchsurfers and then couchsurfing hosts.

Help
Our dream for our workaways would be to make progress on our garden projects primarily. If workaways are interested on the farm, we can also show them an experience of farm life, however the workawayers will not be working on the farm as this is a commercial business. We are currently building a bike track around our garden, which will be fun for kids and adults! During spring, we take in orphaned lambs and calves and raise them in the paddock by the house. We also have some building and construction projects, so depending on what the workawayers skills are, we can be flexible as to the nature of the tasks.

Living in the spare bedroom of our home. Must be Ok with sharing a home with a couple with a toddler (she sleeps well!) It is a spacious, warm, modern home. Spa pool, garden, large backyard. We will provide food and workawayers can eat with our family. They may like to get themselves some of their own snacks, but we can provide main meals.
What else ...
There are plenty of activities to do around the area, especially if you are interested in hiking, surfing, etc. We are only 1.5 hours to Wellington (train or drive) to experience city life. It would be advantageous to have a vehicle, to be independent while here. This would be suited to a single or a couple.
