Description
Patricia and Tyson are a Nica/Canadian couple who live on Hopehill farm along with our two kids and Tysons parents and grandmother. Currently we have minimal commercial activities on the property, however we have lots of garden spaces and ducks to take care of. The property is about 18 acres so there is always plenty to do to keep it up. We enjoy hosting visitors who share our desire to live a healthy and happy life.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are a multigenerational family with a broad scope of knowledge and skills amongst us that we are happy to share with visitors. Vera the property matriarch is an experienced homesteader who manages the greenhouses and food gardens. She is passionate about processing the food she grows for winter storage, and has a wealth of knowledge to share. Cam, is a master tradesmen who has built most of the structures on the farm, and fixes everything from machinery to electrical systems, he is a great mentor. Tyson (Me, Vera and Cams son) is a successful entrepreneur (visionary behind retreat and other established businesses) and passionate about community development and food security. I am always happy to take visitors out to harvest crabs by canoe from the harbour in front of our farm, and share the wisdom I have acquired through my endeavours. I also have a speed boat and would be happy to take visitor island hopping if the timing is right.
