This is a small farm 15km from Gueret. We grow vegetables and keep poultry and donkeys. We farm according to permaculture principles. We have a woodland area that we are actively managing - harvesting wood for heating, cooking and building. We are in the process of training two of our donkeys in this work. We would welcome Workawayers to help with growing food and helping in the woods. We are a retired english couple who have lived in France for the past five years.

We live in a beautiful area in France with many interesting cultural centres to visit. During the spring and summer there are many village festivals. We are actively involved with a local folk music and dancing association and attend many local bals that visitors would be welcome to attend.
We have knowledge of working and walking with donkeys and workawayers would be able to join in with those experiences.
Vegetable growing, harvesting and processing. Helping in the woods - clearing, replanting and building with green wood.

We have built a shepherd's hut in a woodland near to the house which accommodates a couple. It is completely autonomous with electricity, cooking facilities and hot shower. There is a dry toilet next to it.
Creuse is renowned for its peaceful, unspoilt countryside, dramatic landscapes and breathtaking views with water everywhere.
We have a small lake full of carp - which visitors would be welcome to fish in.
It’s landscapes have been celebrated by artists such as Monet and Renoir and have parts known as George Sand country (after the author).
The Royal tapestry town of Aubusson () is worth a visit, as is La Souterraine, a lively market town whose medieval ramparts still stand today. Throughout the Creuse you’ll also see many fine examples of romanesque churches.
