The lodge is surrounded by a community that still preserves its pre-Incan and colonial traditions. As a volunteer or visitor, you can: Share time with local families, participate in cooking, harvesting, or local customs. Observe or participate in traditional rituals linked to the agricultural cycle and the mountains (apus). Hear oral histories and legends of the area told by village elders. Explore the natural environment: Hike to viewpoints, pre-Hispanic ruins, or sacred sites. Explore the Colca Canyon from a local perspective, away from mass tourism. Participate in traditional llama or horseback riding excursions.
