Description
We are a family of 3 (couple in our 40s, 2year old boy). We have a super energy efficient home and are designing a forest garden. We live in norther Spain in an area of outstanding natural beauty with lots of trekking, cycling, climbing and even hotsprings.
the work is varied from planting trees, building stone walls, moving the compost, weeding, occasional baby sitting, varnishing furniture, painting walls etc...Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
Garden work, digging, building stone walks, planting trees, weeding, composting, general tasks around the house, (in November probably house and pet sitting). In July and August only blueberry picking.

Transport is limited here so having your own transport is a bonus. There is loads of beautiful nature, bird watching and trekking as well as some hotsprings.

Can possibly accept pets
Yes.... but with big disclaimer. This is a rural area with LOTS of animals. We cannot afford problems with our neighbours. If your dog or cat kills chickens, that is a problem, if they get into fights with other animals that is also a problem. It is not ok to bring cats (or dogs) to biodiversity hotspots and let them kill anything that moves (there are very vulnerable species here such as newts, frogs, lizards, birds etc). Our dog does not go on the sofas or beds and we expect your companion animals to do the same (they can have their own cushion/blanket. So in short... yes but with responsibility and common sense.
