I just came back from a 6 week backpacking trip to Chile and Buenos Aires, after graduating German high school. Now I am living my day to day life searching opportunities to help.

Description

I want to be a Workawayer to get to know new cultures in the most authentic way. I have traveled around the world all my life and thankfully my parents have taught me that tourism should not always be one-sided. So it has always been my plan to go abroad after school to help in whatever situations come my way. I have always done Karate competitively, which has taught me a lot of discipline and respect which I think are very important personality traits as a Workawayer. I have competed all over the world which has allowed me to see many different cultures aswell. I am looking forward to spending a long time in a foreign country making new connections:)

More details about my language interests
I grew up bilingual in German and Spanish, this made me realize that knowing a language benefits you not just superficially. So I decided to put a lot of energy into learning English and through all my travels, I became fluent relatively fast. I learned French in school and it is the only language that was and still is very hard for me to learn. But I am still interested in the language and in all the other languages as well. I have also always enjoyed helping friends and family to learn Spanish or German and I hope I can continue doing that all over the world.

I am disciplines, respectful and stress resilient through the sport. And openminded, spontaneous and friendly because of my experience traveling. I am uncomplicated and not judgmental at all. I have spend three weeks on an alpine farm in south-tirol, working and living with the family. I have worked three weeks in a German, Waldorf, outdoor kindergarden and three weeks in a preschool in Los Angeles living with my family. I have also worked at our karate school, teaching and coaching children and organizing them on competitions. All of those experiences have enriched my skills in hospitality and tourism, childcare and pedagogy.

my Family is German and Guatemalan. I have family in the US, in Guatemala, in Germany and Switzerland. All these backgrounds make me very sensitive to other cultures and customs.
