  Description

  We're a family of four (British/Swedish) who have settled in Valencia. We have a daughter aged 9 and a boy aged 7 who are at school/sports most of the time! We've also got a 2 year old dog, Toby. We have a lovely home with garden and pool that is very close to the centre of Valencia (10 mins drive) and extremely well-connected by public transport/bike lanes (abt 20 mins). We have a guest house (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full chef's kitchen, living, dining, etc) on our property for you to stay in. At times we may have family or friends visiting for a few days at a time and then they would share the guest house with you. We also have an extra car that is yours to use when we don't need it.

  Valencia is an amazing city and you would have plenty of time to enjoy it! You'll have plenty of space to yourself seeing as you'd have your own house and plenty of opportunity to explore as you can borrow our second car. This workaway is best suited for independent travellers who are happy to help in our house for a few hours a day and then spend the rest of the time exploring or working on their own projects.

  Help

  We're a really busy family and are looking for someone who can help us run the household. It's primarily help with cooking, laundry, and cleaning. It would be about 2 hours a day of cleaning or general house help such as walking the dog/laundry/watering plants, 2 hours a day of cooking, and then a few hours a week of driving or babysitting (schedule to be discussed). Weekends are free aside from the occasional help with driving to the kids' sports games. We're looking for someone who really loves cooking - we love all sorts of food but don't eat meat (though we do eat seafood) but haven't the time to properly meal plan and cook as we want to.

  Accommodation

  You would have your own spacious, modern house (own bedroom, own bathroom, full chef's kitchen, living, dining, etc) on our property. At times we would have family or friends visiting who would stay in the guest house as well but you would still have your own bedroom/bathroom and they'd be hanging out in our house, not yours. We also have an extra car that you are welcome to borrow when we don't need it. Food would be provided (ingredients, not the cooking!). You are also welcome to use the pool, terrace, and gym when we are not using it. You would have your own entrance/keys to the guest house so that you can come and go as you like.

  What else ...

  Valencia and the surrounding areas are incredible - and you'd have plenty of time to enjoy it! Public transport from our house is very quick and easy, plus the bike lanes are even faster. You are welcome to use our second car when we don't need it so that you can explore the region. We're a really easygoing family who are just very busy and need help running the household!
