    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

During your stay, you'll gain a solid understanding of permaculture and how to create a self-sustaining environment. You can learn about nature, water management, solar energy, plant propagation, and ecology. We’ll soon begin an earth-building project, where you’ll get hands-on experience using natural, reclaimed, and recycled materials in our unique designs.

You’ll also be part of our daily life here — helping with our private garden, orchards, vegetable beds, and animals. There’s always something creative to do, from keeping the place tidy to cooking, art, or small projects, depending on your interests and skills.

We love cultural exchange! Sharing food is a big part of life here — we enjoy trying your favorite dishes or specialties from your home country, and we’ll share ours too. We’re always happy to learn about your culture, language, and stories, and we look forward to getting to know you as part of our community.

  • Help

    Help

At the moment (November 2025), we’re looking for extra hands to help us around our home and property. The help is for our private gardens and household projects, not for our business activities.

The type of help varies depending on the season, weather, and what’s most needed at the time. Typical tasks may include:

    * Caring for the vegetable garden, orchards, and greenhouse
    * Planting seedlings and sowing vegetable or grass seeds
    * Helping with garden bed construction, mulching, and pathway maintenance
    * Feeding and caring for our animals (chickens, dogs)
    * Cooking, preserving food, or baking, depending on your interests and skills
    * Tidying shared spaces and helping with spring/autumn clean-ups
    * Light creative projects, such as painting, decorating, or small DIY builds

Our aim is to create and maintain a self-sufficient, sustainable lifestyle. We enjoy experimenting with permaculture principles, recycled materials, and natural building methods.

We’re looking for active, hands-on people who enjoy nature, ecology, and animals. You’ll learn practical skills in sustainable living, propagation, and organic gardening, while sharing delicious meals made from our own produce.
