Description
Hi. I consider myself an ageing hippie, who escaped "the system" in 2008, to grow organic veg., having been a vegetarian most of my life. However I am slightly disabled, and need some help. I have a comfortable small home, s/c guest cottage, level kitchen garden, 6x3 poly-tunnel, some oak woodland, a dog and a cat. I live down a track in an area of mostly oak woodland, olive groves and vineyards, with some beautiful walks. Having completed my project, with help from many workawayers, I spent most of 2019 in hospital where I had 6cm cut off my femur. This has left me unable to walk without a frame. Last year, I struggled, but am now ready to get my project going again. It is a special area here, and I Would be very grateful to have a long term guest/couple to help me.
I look forward to meeting more workaway guests. Gerald.Types of help and learning opportunities

Work is easy and very pleasant but of course if you're up for a challenge you can definitely find bits and bobs to do all day long. I stayed there for exactly 2 weeks and my main job was weeding the garden and cooking. Gerry is a vegetarian who loves… read more
