Description
Come join us for some time in a wonderful, quiet garden right in the center of a quaint town. We are a semi-retired easy going couple who have a lovely mid century home in the small harbor Town of Comox on Vancouver Island, B.C. We have a large city lot that has lots of plant and veggies. We are looking for others to assist in gardening, weeding, lawn mowing, moving some plants around, cleaning up the compost. Both of us are active and are able to do this work, just looking for some extra hands. We have a guest room with a queen bed and a large workshop to hang out in.

We offer a great place to have conversational english and learn about gardening or offer your skills to make the garden better. We have a small architect firm and can share and show others what that looks like as a way of life.

Am looking for hands to help in the garden. Weeding, some moving of plants, dirt, picking produce when its ready, lawn mowing.

Comox Valley has so much to offer. On your time off, it is a 10 minute walk to the marina and a 20 minute walk to Goose Spit Beach in Comox. Couple of good restaurants and brew pubs here. There are local buses to catch and you can rent bikes. There are many features: lots of hikes, biking, swimming (ocean, river, lake and can all happen in one day :). 25 min drive to the mountain biking community of Cumberland. 40 min drive to the top of Mount Washington and Strathcona Park.
We are daily meditators (morning and afternoon) and enjoy both our quiet time and spending time with others. Currently we have been assisting Ukrainian families who are locating in the area, to get settled.
