Hello - my name is Evelyn and I live outside the beautiful West Coast city of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada. I am a retired teacher and an avid gardener. I have travelled the world over many decades and I really enjoy meeting new people. I have a large garden and would like help maintaining this, as well as help with general household maintenance.

Workawayers will learn agricultural practices and how to prepare fresh, healthy food. We have a large home library and are happy to share our good books and conversation. As avid travellers, we enjoy learning about other cultures.

We are located in Surrey (near Bear creek park), just outside of Vancouver. Vancouver downtown is easy to access by public transportation (approx 1h on the expo line + bus).
The world famous resort of Whistler is 2 hours away, and can be reached by public transportation. The Surrey/ Vancouver area offers extensive outdoor activities and has a very vibrant arts and culture life.
