    Description

Hi, I am super happy that you are reading this! I’m a digital marketeer by profession and an active host for travelers. I’m from a small, beautiful coastal town called Byndoor in Udupi district, Karnataka, India. After living in two of India’s mega-cities, I moved back home with my lovely dog, Simba. For me, nature is the biggest inspiration.

I've been hosting travelers as a super host on bnb for over six years, and I love photography, flying drones, dogs, automobiles, and traveling. Meeting new people, learning new things, and sharing memories is what I enjoy the most. Hosting on Workaway is an extension of my passion for welcoming travelers and building meaningful connections.

I also love working on projects that create a positive social impact. Whether it's organizing clean-up drives, raising awareness about marine life conservation, or helping out the local community, these efforts mean a lot to me. Hosting you would give me the opportunity to extend these experiences to you as well.

Im also working on my dream project for a while now — building a vacation rental home to host travelers. After years of planning, my family and I finally completed the construction of our farmhouse, You can also be my extra hand to help manage the farm, handle social media (if you’re tech-savvy), and assist in hosting travelers.

It’s going to be an exciting journey, and I’m looking forward to discussing more with you!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

You will have the opportunity to learn a great deal about life in Coastal Karnataka, one of the most culturally rich regions in southern India. Our area is known for its spirituality, deeply rooted traditions, and unique way of living. You can also learn Kannada, one of the oldest languages, with us.

Our house is 102 years old, with a fascinating history. My dad, a retired bank manager, has a wealth of knowledge about history, mythology, and the modern world, along with 40+ years of experience in farming. He’s incredibly friendly and loves to chat — you’ll have endless things to learn from him!

On top of that, I can teach you photography, flying drones, and share insights into social media marketing, online advertising, and more. While we’re not working, I’d be thrilled to share my travel experiences and everything I’ve learned over the years.

It’s an enriching cultural exchange where you'll immerse yourself in local traditions, gain new skills, and experience life in coastal Karnataka!

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Byndoor may be a small coastal town, but it’s perfectly located near several popular tourist destinations. Gokarna, a beautiful beach town, is just 110 km away, and Goa is 234 km away — about 4 hours by train or 6 hours by road.

If you're looking to explore nearby, there are countless options. Someshwara Beach, just 6 km away, is a place you’ll fall in love with, especially for its stunning sunsets. Marvanthe Beach, where a river flows on one side and the ocean on the other, is another marvel. You can also visit Kodi Beach, the scenic Kodachadri Hills, Agumbe, and a number of ancient temples in the area, as the region is known for its rich spirituality.

In your time off, you can explore these beautiful spots, enjoy quiet moments in nature, and immerse yourself in the local culture. Transport options are readily available, whether you prefer trains, buses, or even renting a scooter for a more flexible experience. If you appreciate nature, serenity, and the little things in life, you’ll fall in love with Byndoor and the surrounding area.

This is one epic feature made possible by workaway. I am a big fan of campervan myself. We have plenty of space in the backyard as well as in our farm to park any number of campervans or motorhomes. The location is absolutely perfect to camp. Away from the crowd, with the scenic view and greenery everywhere.
