Description
My boyfriend and I have recently renovated and moved into a 16th century farm house/olive oil mill and have been living here for 1 year now. We have just had our first child and farm life has been difficult to manage between the baby and my boyfriends job.
We have many projects and ideas and ultimately would like to be living self sufficiently from our 25 hectares of land.
Currently we run a small vegetable garden, keep chickens, 1 young cow from whom we will take our dairy when she comes of age, horses, dogs, plant one barley/oat crop a year for hay and harvest our olive trees to make our own olive oil at home.
we aspire to keep pigs/sheep/goats/ have an all year round vegetable garden, build an outdoor kitchen, revitalise our old vineyard and plant trees and create a beautiful garden so that we alone can live self sufficiently.
We are both english but grew up in Andalucia so we are well accostumed to local life and speak fluent Spanish. My Boyfriend works with horses and spends many hours away from home.
We are looking for helpers with enthusiasm, strength, and a love or passion for countryside life. we can provide a nice small cottage for you to live in.
We are simply trying to live off our land and provide for our own family and need some help. If we can jar up enough seasonal foods to last all year we will happy.
We are not aiming to sell our produce. This is a home not a business.
A couple would be ideal, so you can live together in the cottage and help with more physical labour as well as the baby.

Life here is beautiful and amazing. you will be surrounded by animals and countryside people and life.
This life is a true insight into a traditional Andalusian countryside life. Our home is in a small valley of peaceful tranquility. Beautiful birds Wild boar, Dear. i love it ! many great walks can be enjoyed from our home and foraging of mushrooms or esparragus. you could also ride our horses if you know how to.
Our local village Cazalla De La Sierra is a 20 minute drive from our home and is renowned as the village in the area with the kindest most welcoming people. It is a traditional unspoilt white washed village with narrow streets filled with Tascas and small bars with a population of 5000 mostly Spanish people.Projects involving children

Help
We are looking for helpers with enthusiasm, strength, and a love or passion for countryside life.
Ideally you will be someone who has some knowledge in farm life and a little bit of experience in looking after a baby.
If you come for a short time we may build a fence, or harvest almonds, or weed the garden or plant trees or jar fruit...endless list of possibilities.
General help is feeding animals and cleaning the chicken house.
It would be great if you know how to drive well. eg a 4x4 car. As you could help with running some errands or collecting fire wood.Languages spoken
