    Description

    Hi, Im Alena, Im Czech and have been living abroad for nearly 25 years. I have a 10yr old son and from May Im looking for someone who can help me looking after him, play with him and drive him to or from school when my work prohibits me from doing it and help around the house and garden a bit too. We have a nice house near Cannes in southern France, close to the beach and mountains. Falco's father is Australian and Falco's first language and our household language is English, we speak and understand French, and Im trying to teach my son Czech.

    We are based in France, so there is a possibility to soak up some French culture and discover the beautiful French Riviera. Our son is fluent in english, french and is learning Czech.

    In the spring we mainly need help for school runs (so drivers licence and comfortable driving is a must) and some play time. In the summer holidays I work iregurlar hours and you would look after Falco, go to the beach, make some day trips (so driving is also required), play at home. Our boy enjoys electronics, experiments,remote control toys, video games, programming/coding, ball games, cycling etc.
    The grand mother comes in the summer holidays to help, so you wouldn't be alone.
    We would ask for little help with some household tasks and gardening/watering.

    We had au-pairs and workawayers previously and it was a great experience.

    You will have a room to yourself in the downstairs area of our house, a double bed, desk and chair. It allows privacy and separation from the main living area when wanted.

    There are lots of things to do in the area, whether it is exploring the cities and towns along the coast, or hiking in the local forests or up the mountains. Visiting galleries or chilling on the mediterranean beaches. Local public transport is easily accessible and there may be possibility to use a car sometimes for adventures further afield.
