WE NEED HELP FOR THE OLIVE HARVEST, FROM OCTOBER 15 TO OCTOBER 30, ANY VOLUNTEER?? :)
Luca and I moved to the countryside from the city to produce our own food and live surrounded by nature. We have olive trees, nut trees, a vineyard, chestnut trees and fruit trees. We live with 2 dogs, 2 sheep, hens ducks and a pigeon. All our animals have been saved from farms where they would have been killed (except for the dogs, one was a stray dog). We are vegan with the only exception of eating the eggs that our hens lay. We have travelled and been wwoofers for a few years. As we have chosen to stop travelling and live in our own small house, produce our own food and look after our animals, we would like to meet peolple from all over the world and share experiences. We can host in a tent and share food. We ask approx 25 hours work a week. We need help to build stables, fencing, cut wood, finishing the outdoor bathroom, make a pond for ducks, work in the vegetable garden, picking fruit and making preserves and sharing house duties. In your freetime you can visit Viterbo, Rome, go to the hot springs or discover the countryside in Tuscia (north Lazio) or Umbria. Languages spoken Italian, English and French.

You will sleep in a tent , we will provide the tent, mattress and blankets but not sheets, so visitors should bring a sleeping bag. There is an outside bathroom with a sink, a toilet and a mirror. The shower is inside the house but we would like to build an outdoor solar shower (maybe someone could help us!) We will be eating (and preparing) together organic vegan food (and eggs if you wish). Fresh fruit and fresh veg (according to the season) will be available from our garden and our trees. If you want to eat meat, you can go to the local restaurant, 5 minutes on foot :) (restaurant NOT included)
