We are Paula and Mendel (farm founders), Eli (son), Katie and our 2 daughters Nova who’s 3 and baby Jade. Our family farm is fairly isolated on 160 acres above beautiful Deadman Valley in the dry region of s.w. BC. We raise organic vegetables, herbs, and bedding plants. We take our produce to the Kamloops Farmers' Market once a week in Kamloops, which is located one hour away from this ranching and tourist area. We eat organic and a large portion of our food is provided from our own garden. We are always willing to accommodate individual tastes and dietary restrictions. We enjoy yoga and playing live music. We have a very friendly dog and many cats, all of which live outside. We`d love for you to stop by and lend a hand [June - October].

Help in the house
Lot's to learn about organic market gardening with 40+ years of experience here on the farm and rural Canadian living here in this very unique place on earth.
Some of the volunteer work would be assisting us in the garden: planting, hoeing, weeding, harvesting, and preparing for market. Other volunteer work could consist of fencing and maintenance type jobs around the farm.
We offer private and/or shared rooms in our home, our camper/trailer, or tent. Meals are eaten together, except on market days.
We are LBGTQ accepting.
There is great hiking in the area and lakes close by.
