    Description

Our project is to build collectively an ecoplace in a wonderfull area : in a small village in the country side, by the sea, in a National Park, where flora and fauna are preserved.
Bought in 2018, the land (O,6 hectares) has been planted with a lot of plants and trees (in order to be an edible forest garden) and we're building a bioclimatic house (wood, straw and soil).
The aim is to live there and to host people who want to learn about permaculture and to experiment ecological transition.
To care about nature and about each other, to share our respectives knowledges and to spend good and meaningful time are the main principles. We enjoy collective way of life but the respect of one's needs, included the aspiration to be by oneself, is valued.
I, Aurelie, am 52 and I'm a researcher and professor of sociology in Paris ; Sasha, 21, is studying circus and acrobatics ; Mado, 18, is studying political science ; and Pauline, 11, is at school in a Montessori pedagogy ; Marin, 52, is from the region and had already built his own house the same way, he teaches chess and plays guitar.
A lot of friends, neighbors and volunteers, contribute to the project (André and Arielle, architects ; Christophe, carpenter ; Hans, traveler and baker ; Georges and Mireille, neighbors retired ; Emlily, volunteer and nurse ; Benoît, voisin bricoleur ; Philippe et Martine, idem et fins connaisseurs de la faune et flore locaux ...). The list would be too long but we are very grateful for all that wonderful encounters !

    - share good meals in a natural and convivial place (and discover new comestible plants and cooking recipes),
    - know more about french culture and about the local habits,
    - play music, sing and danse or meditate and practice yoga,
    - spend an evening around a campfire,
    - go to the beach, swim, walk, observe birds and seals, play a kite,
    - discover a marvelous natural area, with a very rich fauna and flora.

  • Help

    Help

We need help mainly for the construction of the house (straw bales, wood, clay...), to maintain the field (cut the grass, take care of young trees...) and to maintain the communal places and things (bikes have to be fixed regularly, so if you know how to do it, tell!). Everybody can help !

Electricity, water (even hot water when it works!), 4G are available, as well as 2 dry toilets and showers in the garden.
You are welcome to come with your own tent and a warm sleeping bag, but if you don't have any, don't hesitate to contact us, we will found some for you.
We will cook altogether (or we can operate in rolling turns) and eat (together or by yourself if you prefer) fresh, good and mainly vegetarian food. In the evening, a campfire will roast diner and warm us. Or we may go for a picnic on the beach and admire the sunset.

Train station is only at 5 km from the site, and the Bay is also at 5 km.
So, you can come in one way or another :
    - car or van can be parked in the field
    - you can come by train and we can pick you at the station, or you can bring your own bike in the train (for free)
    - we have a few bikes that we can borrow to ride around.

There are plenty of nice activities just next to our place : Swimming in the sea, observing birds in the ornithological park, or seals in the Bay de Somme, walking around, practicing sport as kayak, yachting, equitation, kite, fishing...
