An Historic house a few minutes from Timaru on 11. hectares of land..
It is peaceful, surrounded by lawns and gardens. In return for helping in gardens..mostly mowing the lawns , sometimes a little housework if it is raining .We offer a private bedroom room, a comfortable bed, own bathroom, meals and use of the laundry.
Help in the house
This is probably the South Island's most historic home and one of the oldest. Built 1884 to 1887, The Governor of NZ residence in the early 1900's . There is a great amount of interesting history attached to this property.
Lawn mowing mainly, some gardening, sweeping the driveway etc, odd jobs around the house as might be required from time to time....
Own room, single or double..own bathroom...use of the kitchen, breakfast and other meals included
Take time out to visit Timaru, the beach and Caroline Bay.., take a day trip to Tekapo....only 90 minutes away
