Description
Hey travelers! We’re Aljaž and Zala, a couple who has explored the world through Workaway, and now we’re bringing that spirit home. This summer, we’re getting married and need a small team (around 5 people) to help us set up our garden celebration!
📅 When: July 30th – August 15th (flexible, shorter stays possible)
📌 What we need help with:
Setting up the venue – decorating, arranging tables
Prepping in the days before – making everything ready for the big day
We’re looking for people who enjoy dynamic work – nothing too demanding, but you should like being part of a team and helping create a great atmosphere.
🍽️ We’ll provide meals during the preparation days so you’ll be well taken care of!
🏞️ In return, enjoy some time of relaxing at Lake Bled & Lake Bohinj – swimming, hiking, and exploring beautiful Slovenia.

You will be able to discover beautiful Slovenia, because everything is easily reachable. There is a bus station 1 min walk from our house and you can take the bus to Bled or Ljubljana from there: ) Peacefulness around here is also a big benefit, and our children will show you around, if you will want :) We can try to learn you Slovenian if you'd like!
Help
We’re getting married this summer and turning our garden into a cozy celebration space – and we’d love your help making it happen!
We’re looking for easygoing, hands-on people who enjoy being part of a team. The help includes doing shopping runs, helping with decorations, and generally supporting us in the days leading up to and during the wedding. It’s nothing too heavy, but you should be flexible and enjoy a lively, social vibe.

Accommodation
You would get your own room and in the morning there will be breakfast for you, but you are welcomed to use our kitchen anytime, we also have an outdoor grill.

The work will vary depending on the day, but we’ll keep it relaxed and fair – definitely under 5 hours a day on average.
