 - Description- i am a retired university professor settled in a peaceful village in the Kula district of Manisa , 145 km away from Izmir . The area is geographically and culturally interesting. I have my own small cottage shared with 3 cats and a garden hosting vegetables, fruit trees and a henhouse. I intent to host people with interest in gardening for a teach- learn experience

 - Cultural exchange and learning opportunities- This is a small village of about 150 settlers who are mostly farmers . The village has no shops or whatsoever but there is a local bus running between the village and the nearest town of Kula twice a week. The town of Kula is historically rich and geographically interesting being a very volcanic ( dormant) area. I will also be very happy to show the guests around . 
 - Help- The garden needs some work like setting stepping stones, planting more trees , watering, cleaning the henhouse daily and picking eggs. 
 I need someone to hep me with these while enjoying the nature and the attractions around during breaks and off days

 English: Fluent
 Turkish: Fluent- This host offers a language exchange 
 I am a retired university lecturer in English language and literature. I love talking about languages, literatures and culture.
 - Accommodation- I can offer a room with a big bed, internet. a shared kitchen and bathroom. 
 I am happy to prepare Turkish breakfast everyday as I am a big breakfast person. Or else you can use all the facilities in the kitchen to cook your own food.
 Food is provided.
 - What else ...- I am not far from Izmir, Pamukkale and Usak. There are a lot of ancient sites . There are regular buses to all around Turkey from the small coach terminal of Kula.
