    Description

Hey, we're Andy and Natalia — a Greek-Argentine couple building something beautiful just outside Athens.
Natalia is Greek, raised on this land, and a deeply trained yoga teacher with her own shala on the property. Andy comes from Argentina via Peru's Sacred Valley, with a background in luxury hospitality, coaching, and plant medicine traditions from the Andes and Amazon. After years of long-distance and chapters lived all over the world, we finally landed here together — turning this family property into a home, a retreat space, and slowly, our shared vision: a place where people come to slow down, reconnect, and remember themselves.
We're warm, easygoing, a bit nerdy about wisdom traditions, and we laugh a lot. We take our practice seriously but not ourselves. If that's your vibe, you'll feel at home fast.OUR PROJECT
We're in the early, hands-on phase of bringing this place to life. The house and land have everything we need — but they need love, care, and creative energy to become what we're envisioning: a small wellness retreat hub combining yoga, ceremony, farm life, and quiet integration. Daily, that means farm chores, household projects, organizing, painting, sprucing things up, getting the space ready for guests and gatherings. Bigger picture, we're laying the foundation for retreats, content, and a community rooted right here in this corner of Attika.
You'd be part of the early chapter — your hands and ideas literally helping shape it.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

This is honestly the part we're most excited about. Living together — even for a few weeks — opens doors that travel alone doesn't.
    🌍 What we love sharing

Yoga & meditation in the Pranavashya lineage — Natalia teaches in a deep, traditional style. You'll practice with us daily and learn the why behind the postures, breath, and philosophy. Not gym yoga — real practice.
Ancient wisdom, real-world tools — We're both students of the Yamas, Niyamas, Vedic philosophy, the Bhagavad Gita, plus modern coaching frameworks. We love long conversations about life, purpose, fear, joy — whatever's alive for you.
Ceremonial traditions from South America — Andy has years of training in Andean and Amazonian practices (palo santo, altar work, intention setting, Reiki). We share what's appropriate, simply, with respect.
Cooking across three cultures — Greek home cooking from Natalia (the real stuff her grandmother taught her), Argentine and Peruvian dishes from Andy, plus plant-forward seasonal meals from the land and local market.
Languages — Practice your Greek with Natalia, your Spanish with Andy, or just keep it in English. We genuinely enjoy helping people learn — and you'll pick up a lot just by being around us.
Hospitality craft — Andy comes from years in luxury hospitality (yacht and ship work at the highest level). If you're curious about presence, service, attention to detail, or the art of making someone feel truly cared for — there's a lot to share.

🍷 Social life & local connection

Shared meals daily, with real conversation — no phones at the table
Trips into Athens together (the markets, neighborhoods locals actually go to, not just the tourist circuit)
    Beach evenings during warmer months
Visits to local tavernas in Pikermi and nearby villages — meet the neighbors, eat where the Greeks eat
Greek holidays and traditions, if you're here during one (Easter is something else here)
Occasional gatherings at the shala — yoga sessions, small ceremonies, friends visiting from around the world

🌱 What we hope to learn from you
Honestly? A lot. We love hosting people because:

Every culture has wisdom we haven't met yet — bring yours
Fresh eyes see things we've stopped noticing about our own home and project
Your skills, hobbies, and questions stretch us in ways we can't predict
Hearing how people from different places navigate life, work, love, meaning — that's the real treasure

We want to be real with you about the rhythm here, because it matters for finding the right fit.
    During your 4–5 working hours:
We need someone who can take ownership of a task and run with it. We'll walk you through what needs doing, give you the context and tools, and then trust you to handle it. We're not looking to micromanage — and honestly, we won't be able to. Both of us are deep in building our coaching and retreat work, so during your work hours, expect to be largely independent. Ask questions when you need to, but the more self-directed you are, the better this works for everyone.
This means we're looking for someone who:

Is comfortable working solo without constant check-ins
Has good initiative — can see what needs doing and just do it
Takes pride in finishing what they start
Communicates clearly when something's blocking them

Once the work hours are done, that's when the fun begins. Shared meals, yoga, gym, beach trips, walks, conversations under the stars, day trips to Athens, exploring local tavernas — there's a lot to do together and we genuinely enjoy spending time with our guests. Evenings and days off are when the cultural exchange really comes alive.
Think of it as: focused mornings, connected afternoons and evenings. That's the rhythm that lets all of us thrive.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

You'll be staying in our home — a big, light-filled three-story house on 11,000 m² of land with gardens, animals, and plenty of space to breathe.
🛏️ Room options (we can host up to 3 people at a time):

Room 1: Double room with a large bed — perfect for a couple, or for one person who likes extra space.

Room 2: Single room with a small bed — for a solo traveler.

So we can host either a couple + one solo traveler, or two solo travelers in separate rooms. Both rooms are quiet, comfortable, and yours to settle into.
    🏡 The shared spaces:

A fully equipped kitchen — we cook breakfast and lunch together, but you're absolutely welcome to use the kitchen anytime to make your own food, prep snacks, or experiment with a recipe from home (we'll happily be your taste-testers).
A spacious living room — for reading, hanging out, conversations, or just slowing down.
The yoga shala — a beautiful, light-filled space that fits up to 40 people. You're welcome to use it for your own practice anytime it's not in use for our sessions.
The gardens & grounds — 11,000 m² to wander, sit, write, breathe. Olive trees, open sky, animals roaming, total quiet.

    ⏳ Minimum stay:
We're looking for stays of at least one week, but honestly the magic happens around 2+ weeks — enough time to find a rhythm, settle into the work, and actually enjoy the place. Longer is very welcome.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

A BIT MORE ABOUT WHERE YOU'LL BE LIVING
Pikermi is one of those quiet pockets of Attica that most travelers fly straight past on their way to the islands. We think that's a mistake. You get the best of three worlds here: the sea, the mountains, and the history — without the crowds.
🌊 Beaches & sea (your weekends, basically)

Marathonas & Schinias — long stretches of sandy beach with pine forest behind. Schinias is the Athenian local favorite, calm and clean.
Mati & Rafina — closer beaches for a quick swim after work
Rafina port — 15 minutes away, with ferries leaving daily to Andros, Tinos, Mykonos, and beyond. If you have a long weekend off, you can hop on a ferry and be on a Cycladic island by lunch. This is a hidden superpower of staying here.

    🏛️ History & culture nearby

Cape Sounion — Temple of Poseidon on a cliff over the Aegean. Go for sunset. About 40 min drive.
Marathon — yes, that Marathon. The battlefield, the lake, the museum. Right next door.
Vravrona (Brauron) — ancient sanctuary of Artemis. Quiet, mystical, and almost no tourists.
Athens itself — Acropolis, Plaka, the markets, the museums, the food. About 30–40 min by car, around an hour by bus.

    🥾 Nature & quiet escapes

Mount Penteli — hiking trails, old monasteries, panoramic views over Attica
Mount Hymettus — wilder hikes, herbs growing everywhere (this is where the famous Attic honey comes from)
Local wineries in Markopoulo and Spata — Attic wine country, much underrated

    🍷 Local life
The area around us has great tavernas where you'll eat what Greeks actually eat — not the tourist menu. We'll happily point you to our favorites, and probably bring you along.

    GETTING AROUND

🚌 Bus connects Pikermi to Athens (around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic)
🚆 The metro line out of Athens reaches Doukissis Plakentias — combined with a short bus, very doable
🚗 If you have a license, renting a car or scooter for a few days unlocks the area completely — and is very affordable
✈️ Athens International Airport is 20 minutes away, which makes weekend island-hopping or quick trips remarkably easy
🚲 Bikes work well on quieter local roads if you're into that

We'll help you figure out the best option based on what you want to do.

HOW WE LIVE (a few gentle things to know)
We're not strict, but we have a rhythm — and it matters that it stays intact while you're here:

Mornings are usually quiet. We practice yoga and meditation early. You're warmly invited to join, but if not, just keep the volume low until everyone's moving.
Shoes off inside — Greek tradition, also just nicer for everyone.
We eat plant-forward and clean. Not strictly vegetarian, but mostly. If you have very different dietary needs, we'll figure it out together.
No smoking inside the house. Outside is fine.
The animals are family. Treat them with care and curiosity, and they'll do the same back.
The shala is a sacred space. Use it freely for practice, but no shoes, no food, and please leave it as you found it.
We value honest communication. If something's off, tell us — we'd rather have a real conversation than guess.
Phones at meals are a no. We genuinely connect over food, and we hope you will too.
Take time for yourself. This isn't a 24/7 social experience. We respect alone time and hope you take it.

That's it. No long list of rules. Mostly it comes down to: be kind, be present, communicate, and treat the space like it's yours — because while you're here, it kind of is.

    ONE LAST THING
If you're someone who's been feeling burnt out, scattered, or curious about a slower way of living — this place tends to do something to people. We can't promise transformation, but we've seen enough guests leave changed to know there's something in the land, the silence, and the rhythm here that wakes things up. Come open. That's all we ask.

If you work online and want to combine your own work with helping us out — this can be a great base. A few things to know: Wifi is being installed shortly and will be in place before you arrive. We're making sure it's strong enough to actually work on (video calls, uploads, the whole thing). Lots of quiet corners to set up — the living room, a spot in the shala, your own room, or outside under a tree when the weather's right. The 4–5 working hours can flex around your own schedule within reason. If you have client calls or a deep work block in the morning, we can build your tasks around your afternoons (or vice versa). Just talk to us — we'll figure out a rhythm. Plenty of power outlets and good light throughout the house. Coffee culture is alive here — we drink it, we'll make it, and there are good cafés in nearby towns if you want a change of scene.

  • Space for parking camper vans

    Space for parking camper vans

We have 11,000 m² of land — there's serious space here. If you travel in a van, motorhome, or even just want to camp out under the stars for part of your stay, you're more than welcome to park up on the property. Some things to know: Bring your own setup, but you'll still have full access to the house — kitchen, bathroom, shower, living room, shala. Water and basic electrical hookup can usually be arranged — just let us know what you need ahead of time and we'll work it out. The land is flat enough for most vehicles, with quiet spots away from the main house if you want privacy. We're happy to host any kind of vehicle — from a small camper to a full motorhome. 🌿 General good-to-knows We're in the country, so bring sturdy shoes if you plan to wander the property or hike nearby. Pharmacies, supermarkets, and ATMs are all a short drive away in Pikermi or Pallini. Mosquitoes can show up in summer — bring repellent or we'll point you to local solutions. It can get hot in July/August — the house stays relatively cool but plan accordingly. We have a washing machine you're welcome to use. We're open to longer-term arrangements for the right person. If something clicks, let's talk.
