Mambo!
We are a community-based organization located in the rural Sironko District in Eastern Uganda. We support vulnerable children and the wider community around them by transforming the children's lives through education, rehabilitation and talent development. With the support of family members and volunteers, We are currently supporting 30 children under the age of 13 years, hoping to be able to help more children as the organization develops. "Let's Smile Together"
Volunteering in this project will definitely change your life in a way that you experience living in an African community, and feel the positive change and movement that is possibly when everybody starts doing a little bit.
Besides this life changing experience, Uganda and its people really ARE one of the friendliest and most welcoming people in the world. It is thus easy to get in touch with people and their life stories. Furthermore, you will get experiences in working for a growing nonprofit organization, mostly in a practical way but also in a theoretical managerial perspective.
Lastly, volunteers MUST explore the beauty of Uganda, and Sironko District is a great starting point for this in the Eastern Region of Uganda. Sironko is mountainous, has a river and sisi water falls. Moreover, it is close to the famous Sipi Falls and to Mt. Elgon. Moreover, volunteers can experience safari tours with close-by safari operators or the big city life in Kampala or Jinja with its various sites. We are also happy to do tours together with you, and of course, we provide transport from the airport and back to make your arrival most convenient for you.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.

*️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ Hygiene and Sanitation Project Children and Young People
We sensitize children about having access to facilities for the safe disposal of human waste (feces and urine), as well as having the ability to maintain hygienic conditions, through services such as garbage collection, industrial/hazardous waste management, and wastewater treatment and disposal.
*️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ Ecology Project
We sensitize people how people and nature depend on one another through planting trees and visiting beautiful nature. It's our major concern to understand ways human activities affect earth over time.
*️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ Elderly Care Project
There a lot of abandoned elders in our community ,some have lost families or didn't have children ,others have been affected by tribal wars and they really can't work to satisfy their needs.
Our Elderly care project is majorly to support all elders through family based care and medical treatment.
We currently support 4 elders..
we would like to have fan with our elders learn more from each other and strengthen our relationship with them,
usually we visit them and cook some food, help them in general hygiene and its really fan when it comes to sharing a variety of fruits with them.
our goal is to build an elder care resource center and support everyone,
