Description
We are an eco community consisting of 8 individually owned properties and a shared parcel of land. We care for the land together, which includes olive grove, fruit and nut orchards, native plantings, septic field, recreational areas, walking tracks and pond. With access to the Ruamahanga river. We strive toward permaculture principles- earth care, people care, fair share.

The community consists of 8 families from all different backgrounds. The ‘workaways’ will have interactions with all of these families. Different cultures, different food, different lifestyles.
Help
We have some exciting projects in the pipeline such as a fire pit area, community garden for bulk crops, and wild flower meadow. There is always weeding and mulching to care for young plantings. Care of animals, planting, labour work like lifting or carting items, pruning, Working alongside community members.
