Description
My name is Angela or Vivek , a meditator, owning a small Commercial Plaza and Meditation Center at San Pedro Sula. A retired architect with focused work in bioclimatic design and diverse construction techniques. The Plaza complex where the Center is located is very green and quiet with green roofs and a lot of trees, a tiny Japanese garden, in a very nice private neighborhood, walking distance to universities, shopping centers, health facilities and at 10 minutes drive from downtown, still surrounded by nature. I´m always creating new facilities and activities, specially with young people for all age people, searching for self awareness and healthy development.
Now due the small amount of travelers, we are looking for help with more long term visitors, minimum one-two months stay, that can help on relaunching our place and promote developing a multi-skills international semi permanent community, self responsable and self sustainable. Still we will be subject to 2 weeks trial period, but with the longer term collaboration in mind.
Field one. We are not performing all the usual activities, due the health restrictions on big group activities, but looking to create and promote little organic neighborhood orchards, for all, beginning at our house and project, transforming our regular garden into a eatable and medicinal garden. We are interested in someone with experience in permaculture as well as putting to work a small hydroponic system which has already built, not operating, which would love to put to work with an experienced good advisor.
Second field or work, is helping us on gardening, to design and build the next phases of our Japanese garden, and with the maintenance of it. The idea here is making a field school for those interested ones, with returning groups every year, to learn as well as to teach, Japanese gardening. A Japanese landscaper, designer and builder who loves to teach...
Third field of work, I do personally need help on video making and editing as well as improving my skills on Apple computers system, for making more videos and spread information about or natural facilities and lifestyle. Also identifying our tropical nature, plants and animals, with names and photos, making some catalog about it.
Fourth field of work, is making a book into an audio book.
Thank you.

You can learn about our culture, about tropical nature, have the experience of conscious work or work as a meditation, as well as learn any of the things we teach over here (tropical bioclimatic design and construction, recycling, meditations, etc.).
We have season groups of students visiting, from kindergarten school up to university level for our Plaza Green Tours, as well every now and then, international and national students, making their thesis on Tropical Environment Applied Research as an undergraduate requirement willing to work with us for 3 months doing a research of mutual interest. Different disciplines can apply. We just restarted our student tours also.
Honduras is a beautiful country, and our city is a hot and humid town, local people are very nice, (even if we don't have the best press) . Helping to build up consciousness is the greatest opportunity!. Our project is quite unique on its own and located in a very special and private neighborhood area. Country living costs are very low and we have lots of open nature, at just one hour drive away from beaches, mountains and little towns.Help
1- Digital promotion. Short Films and mini documentary making for small ads about our project, photos, video editing, graphic design and maybe also a digital book design on construction (that has been pending to be published).
2- Permaculture. Creating and maintenance of little organic orchard project with permaculture. Changing our regular garden into an edible and medicinal garden. Microgreens and hydroponics as well are in mind as a possibility since we built a house system already. Expert help needed.
3- Japanese garden. We are also looking for experts help on building the next phases of the Japanese Garden as well as maintenance for a longer period of time than usual travelers. Japanese garden expertise must be submitted. The long view is about creating a local gardening school.
4- Thesis research. We can also receive students undergraduate willing to make a 3 months practical research on tropical bioclimatic design or sustainability, in accordance and supervision of their own university as well with Arch Angela Stassano as local expert. Restrictions apply.
5- Making audiobooks locally.Languages

1-We have built a complex of Container Dorms at the Plaza, specially for visitors and students one person per room, shared bathrooms and kitchens. \
2-For individual facilitators/teachers staying longer time we have special space as well.
3-The complex is located next to a community small shopping center or plaza, with cafeteria, laundry, mini market facilities and a meditation center... Walking distance to bigger shopping centers, small cafes and bars. What else ...
This meditation center is located in a very private area of San Pedro Sula at a residential area, 500 mts. from Malls and Universities campus. The meditation center is located in a little bioclimatic center with a little supermarket, laundry, cafeteria and different offices. These days I´m only practicing Silent Sitting Meditations.
In your free time you can do a hike to the famous Coca Cola sign in the Merendon mountains. It is a 3 hour hike, joing bike or running groups, visit local museums and artisanal areas.
At weekends you can perfectly visit different beaches, which are about one hour away (Puerto Cortés). The Bay Islands (Roatan, Utila and Cayo Cochinos) are about 3 hours away by car plus boat or airplane compliment. The Yojoa Lake (1.5 hours drive) and the Copan Ruins are also worth a visit (3.5 hours drive by bus). Comayagua the colonial city is at just two hours trip as well.
Weather is hot and humid most of the time. Exuberant nature, birds, plants, insects, trees. Lots of A/C buses to travel all around the main points of attraction, as well as local tour operators. Also the neighborhood has a lot of open areas to walk and enjoy around, work out, and we are back to back with the Hacienda Tara, a private natural reserve with a lagoon, a cocoa plantation and private horseback ridding school. Also staying here, and relaxing is a very convenient way, or digital work on line too. And if you are looking for working in silence... you can do as well.A little more information

What an amazing place.
Since the beginning I felt so welcomed. I’ve learned so much. I cannot believe how nice and warm the people from Honduras are.
I felt comfortable, safe, loved, warm.
The atmosphere is so nutritional here. There is the nature, the calm, the forever warm… read more
