  Description

  Hello, I am British/Swiss. i have lived in France for 36 years. i lived and partied in Nice for 30 years, but now live in the beautiful, peaceful Charente. There is zero pollution here and fabulous for stargazing.
  I live on my own in a detached house, with an apartment for friends.
  i've created a positive, happy, fun space in nature.
  It is a small village with 330 people. There is a baker's and a bar/restaurant. The nearest big town is 8km away. It has supermarkets, cinema, bars, restaurants.
  There are lots of lovely places to walk, swimming lakes nearby too.
  it is 35 mins to Angouleme. from there you can take a train, 35 mins to Bordeaux, 2 hours to Paris.

  I love to cook and entertain. I am a lifelong vegetarian and would be happy to share my experience. Also happy to learn new recipes and ideas from you.
  i was a host maman in Nice for 10 years and have hosted nearly a hundred students, some
  who have become close friends.
  i love to have my own space, but also love chatting and playing vinyl and having fun. watching films, chatting to the early hours.
  if you need a break from hectic cities, come and join me and be at peace in nature.

  I live on my own now and don't have a car, so you will need to have your own transport.
  i would like assistance with shopping trips.
  Basic housework, DIY would be useful, e.g. putting up pictures.
  I would also like some help with the garden. I would be happy to listen to suggestions for my garden as I haven't had one before.
