    Description

We are Yonus and Abdo, proud hosts from Tagounite, a charming Berber village in the heart of southern Morocco. We warmly invite you to experience the magic of desert life with us, where you’ll be immersed in the richness of our cultural heritage and the timeless traditions of the Berber people.  In my home, you’ll find more than just a place to stay, you’ll find a warm embrace and a sense of belonging. My home is your home, and you are welcome to stay for as long as your heart desires. Here, you are not a guest; you are family. We believe in equality, respect, and kindness, and I will treat you with fairness, openness, and without judgment.
Unfortunately, we've recently experienced heavy rains that caused significant damage to both our home and a large part of the farm. At the moment, I’m focused on repairing the house, as it's a priority for us, there’s a unique opportunity I’d love to invite you to join us in. We’re using clay to make bricks as part of the reconstruction, and it’s a fascinating, hands-on process that I think you’d enjoy. It’s not only a great way to learn about construction and farming, but it could also be a wonderful chance to connect deeper with the land and the local people, during your stay with us you will enjoy visiting montage and dunes of sand, a peaceful weather.
If you’re interested, you’re more than welcome to come and help us with the brick-making! and I’d be happy to show you around and teach you more about the process. It could also be a fun way to start practicing your Arabic while making a real difference in our rebuilding efforts. 🫶🙏
