Description
Come and participate in building and gardening in a peaceful beautiful valley.
Hello! My name is Elad. I live in my land here for almost four years now. I have been working so far mainly on building three houses here - two wooden cabins and a stone house. The land is peaceful and quiet, so usually only nature can be seen and heard from it. In the land there are two wells and a stream, olive trees, vines, fruit trees, and more...
Sometimes there are workers here, during the working week days. Sometimes also friends or neighbours are coming.
Here you'd be able to take part in building projects - with wood, metal and sometime stone. Another option is to enrich and take care of the garden. Work would be 4 hours a day, five timed a week.
Accomodation & Living conditions - the new cabin. it's not fully finished, but already offers privacy, private shower (cold at the moment, but it's summer), electricity, and a water tap just outside of it. It has a double bed, and another mattress can be added. There's an outside kitchen in which you can cook. I'll take care of groceries, and will be happy to take your culinary preferences into account. Some of the meals can be shared, others not, but I would expect cooperation in preparing the food, or independence with it. There is outside private compost toilet. Outside there's also a shared fridge, and a washing machine.
In your free time, it's nice to go for a walk in the surroundings, walk to a natural swimming pool in the river (15 min walking), or... Jump on the trampoline! We can once a week drive to one of the lakes around, and take a kayak with us.
Outside of working I enjoy going for walks, swimming in the natural pool mentioned above, meditating, playing guitar, singing, salsa, and practicing yoga. I used to be an acroyoga teacher and still enjoy teaching and practicing and would love to share all of these hobbies with people from many different walks of life. -

Staying in nature is teaching me about myself, the birds and other animals, about gardening and building. You might find it's similar for you as well.

Help
You can help with the garden, with gathering wood for fire, building the cabin, preparing food and more. If you have a farm related talent or idea for a project I'll be happy to discuss it. Otherwise, that's also perfectly fine. I would appreciate keeping things tidy (though I prepare you that not all is tidy here, yet. For example, I'd like to dishes not to be left unclean in the sink for long. I'll do my best to instruct you with what's needed to be done, but would also appreciate you looking around and coming up with your ideas. There's always something useful to do here. I am interested in people who are responsible for their own mess and are able to pick up on things that need to be done without me having to tell you (ex: dishes, cleaning, keeping things tidy, etc.).

Accommodation
-There are two rooms available for volunteers, both in the wooden cabins.
The first one is in the larger wooden cabin. There are two private bedrooms in this cabin, one of them is mine, the other could be yours for some time! This cabin has a full kitchen, fireplace, running water, electricity, and a hot shower.
The second room is in the smaller wooden cabin, and it offers more privacy. You would be the only one living in this cabin. You have access to your own shower behind the cabin under an oak tree. This shower is cold at the moment, but that's great in summe. There is running water right outside the cabin, and the kitchen for it is outside in a distance of about 30 meters.
-There are 2 showers under olive trees with privacy curtains. It is a beautiful experience to shower under an olive tree. You should come and try it.
-There is a compost toilet.
-There is an outside kitchen and an inside kitchen.
-I will buy groceries. I eat keto but can buy groceries for all diets. Regarding our meals, some nights we can eat dinner together, other nights we can eat separately i.e., do not rely on me to make all the meals. -
What else ...
The stream in the land connects to a river a few hundred meters from the land. You/We can go for nice walks, drive to beautiful lakes, go kayaking, etc. There's café and a grocery store in the nearby village, a big supermarket 20 minutes driving and a city 40 minutes driving.
