Well cultural exchange is at the heart of our mission. We offer volunteers and visitors an immersive experience into the rich woodworking traditions of Corvo Island. Participants engage in crafting the traditional Fechadura do Corvo locks, using sustainable practices and locally sourced materials like the endemic Juniperus brevifolia. Beyond hands-on workshops, we foster community involvement through events like "Chapo de Portas Abertas," where locals and visitors share stories, skills, and cultural insights. Our initiatives aim to preserve Corvo's heritage while promoting sustainable tourism and global cultural appreciation.

Help
We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic volunteer to help out in our workshop on Ilha do Corvo. The role involves welcoming tourists, sharing the history of our craft, and offering a hands-on cultural experience. You’ll guide visitors in making small wooden items like magnets and assist with packaging and general workshop.
It’s a simple and enjoyable role, about 3-4 hours a day, 5 days a week. During your free time, you can explore the island or learn woodworking skills.
If you love cultural exchange and want to be part of preserving Corvo’s heritage, we’d love to have you on board!
