    Description

I am an older widow living an active life enjoying my dogs, the Mexican culture and our near perfect weather. Other than my dogs and an occasional visitor I live here alone.
I am an afficiando of holistic health care and often lend space to alternative practitioners to see clients.

My location is desirable being in the middle of what was originally a small Mexican fishing village. It is close to other villages and only an hour from Guadalajara.

We would work together to provide care to the dogs here. Sometimes that will only be my six other times I may have fosters. I have raised and found good homes for well over 200 puppies and adult dogs.

I have been fostering dogs for about a decade. Along the way I have acquired some hard to place dogs and currently have six of my own and three fosters.
I am looking for someone who loves dogs, doesn’t mind barking and can help with the care of a pack of dogs and sometimes more.
Chores will include feeding, walking, poop patrol, keeping crates and beds clean and any other chores required to keep a pack happy and healthy.
I live on a good size property in the middle of a small Mexican village in Central Mexico. I have two gardeners, but there is plenty that can be tended to by someone who likes to garden.
I am not looking for a companion, but compatibility is important. Speaking English is critical.
There is plenty of room for a couple. I am hoping for a long term commitment.

    Accommodation

Currently I have a very private upstairs bedroom with bath and a large balcony. Beginning in the summer a full casita will be available.

I will provide money for food shopping. I imagine that we would occasionally eat together, especially if the Workawayer likes to cook.

    What else ...

The area has excellent public transportation and my house is easy walking distance to almost all your needs. Many people take a bus to Guadalajara for day trips.
The area boasts a great bike path which joins several villages. We are on the Sierra Madre mountains so it is a hiking Mecca.
Volunteer opportunities abound for those looking for more than just helping my rescue pack.

I have high speed internet with a backup system. I am rarely without internet. Since my Workaway guest will have plenty of private space it would be an ideal situation. I mostly need help with the dogs in the morning and early evening so plenty of work time available.

    Can possibly accept pets

I would consider pets that were compatible with my pack of dogs, no cats.
