Ever since the establishment of the foundation in 2015 we have been striving to provide inspiration to those invested in art and artmaking. This is why we have chosen to set up our Residency Programme in the unique and picturesque landscape of the island, a small piece of land on the river Danube just a few kilometres outside Budapest. The natural landscape of the island boasting beautiful vistas of abundant greenery and tranquil stretches of water is speckled by a handful of small houses reminiscent of Bauhaus architecture. Luppa Island thus presents the ideal environment for artistic creation, contributing to our ultimate aim of being a source of inspiration

We are hosting an Art Residency with 10-12 artists participating simultaneously. We need assistance with cooking and cleaning the studio space after each week. Our "Workaway" guests are welcome to join the Residency, contribute to the creative environment, and build lifelong connections with talented visual artists. Guests can explore new techniques in painting, photography, pottery, and more.
The setting is ideal for discovering Budapest and the Danube Bend. While you can experience Hungarian cuisine, this is also the perfect place to unwind—swimming in the river or engaging in various water sports.

We respond to all application inquiries on the same day via online communication. Participants become part of our vibrant community.
Your role will include helping us prepare meals, either alone or alongside us, and maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the residency. At the end of the week, you'll assist with washing bedding and tidying up the rooms.

Support the Residency, cooking and cleaning 11-25 August
You will help us to prepare foods. We order food online from ALDI. Store basic elements is the kitchen and in Fridge. We will negotiate in advance What and how to cook or you can suggest your well known recipies as well.
Also your duty is to Keep the Residency common placesclean and tidy. At the end of the week wash the beddings and do the rooms.
