  Description

  Nestled in the heart of the Blue Mountains National Park, I have a traditional timber house that is a paradise for those that love the outdoors and a quiet home. Right at the doorstep are several trail heads for those who want hike, run, climb or meander in the bush. The house is surrounded by trees and birds, and is a beautiful sanctuary in a unique spot. We are less than a 10 minute walk to the train station and town, and in the heart of the National Park, close to less visited areas such as the Wollemi, Newnes and Wolgan valley. There are waterfalls close by, and world class rockcliming at the end of the street. I am a reseracher, artist, outdoor-lover and have been a workawayer myself.
  
  I am looking for people who are kind, generous, and eager to work on outdoor projects like gardening, weeding, bogging timber, painting, repairing odd bits and ends. In exchange for 3-4 hours of work a day, you will have a beautiful home, your own bedroom and we can share meals together. I am happy about being flexible with how you help around the property -- if you would like to do some longer days working on projects around the property, and multiple days off, that can work. Where possible with my schedule, I love spending my free time working on the projects together.

  I have been a workawayer myself, and had some of the most enriching experiences with hosts and fellow workawayers. I am happy to help with language practice, and help build an itinerary to visit the most beatiful parts of the park. I have experience rock climbing, canyoning, horse riding, hiking, running, swimming, and I am also an artist (painter and lino/wood carving) -- I can do my best to point you in the right direction whatever you may be interested in.
