ABOUT ME
I’m a creative teacher, health educator, and wellness coach working in secondary schools. I live in a two-story home that I’ve gradually ABOUT ME
I’m a creatively inclined teacher, health educator, and wellness coach working in secondary schools. I live in a two-story home that I’ve gradually transformed into a co-living, co-creating space for volunteers who want to contribute to myco-sharing community and non-profit work in wellness education.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This is a non-profit initiative focused on creating free well-being tools for schools. I work with schools to support teen and teacher wellbeing, and to promote peer coaching and positive change in education. The posters we develop are shared freely through conferences, networks, and school partnerships to help educators build healthy learning environments.
WHAT VOLUNTEERS DO
Volunteers help with:
Creating non-commercial resources and posters for schools
Organising the home and creative workspaces
Assisting with garden and home maintenance
Helping my 89-year-old mum as she writes her autobiography
Preparing and sharing meals (often with rescued food!)
We do not ask volunteers to assist with any business activity, paying customers, or commercial services.
SKILLS WELCOME
Graphic design (for especially for my mums memoir, education conference posters)
Editing film (for the memoir project of my mother or educational content)
Gardening, organising, cleaning, or creative DIY
Cooking healthy meals with whole foods (we love dumpster-dive produce!)
THE HOME
We’re a wellness-focused, music-loving, open-hearted household that values simplicity, creativity, and mutual respect. Our food philosophy leans toward whole foods (I’m gluten-free), and we regularly share dumpster diving plus involved in a weekly food rescue initiative for produce like fruit, vegetables, and sourdough.
We live in alignment with our wellness values:
No drugs or smoking in the home
Alcohol-free home (except on special occasions)
Chocolate is the only thing you’re allowed to overdo!
There’s space here for both community connection and quiet reflection. We value open communication and welcome people from diverse backgrounds and cultures who bring their own wisdom about health and wellbeing.
FINAL NOTE
Due to high interest, I may not always be able to respond — but if your skills match and space is available, I will be in touch. Thank you for your interest and for wanting to be part of something meaningful!Types of help and learning opportunities
