    Description

We are nestled in the quiet countryside, close to a lake, in south Co. Sligo, Ireland.
Karen and Kris have been working for many years to become more self sufficient in the area of food and energy production, as well as developing a space for quiet retreat.

With growth of fruits, flowers and vegetables in 3 polytunnels and outside garden beds, they welcome help from people with an interest in gardening and who enjoy being close to nature. There are ongoing timber building projects also, and maintenance of a living labyrinth. People experienced in carpentry would be a welcomed asset.
Karen and Kris also keep hens producing fresh eggs every day, and 3 adorable cats that add to the character of the place.

They both have their own professional work also on site. Kris is a holistic health practitioner and Karen works as a Child Psychotherapist.

We have experience in hosting people from many countries, and can show workawayers some interesting sites and places to visit.
