Description
We are Dorian and Bruna, and we live on a farm nestled in the French countryside, surrounded by nature and many different animals.
We are building our home here with the intention of creating a simple life in conscious and connection with nature, respecting the land and all the beings we share this place with.
Our animals live here with us as part of our farm family. We do not raise them for meat — they mainly help us by naturally maintaining the grass and caring for the land.
Bruna comes from Brazil and has spent over 10 years traveling the world, learning about music, ancient healing practices, craftsmanship, farming, and gardening. She speaks Portuguese, Spanish, English, and French. She loves singing, playing multiple instruments, making shamanic drums, and working with wool from our animals using traditional techniques. She also loves mountains, hiking, climbing, hot springs, and good food.
Dorian has German roots and grew up in France. He has traveled widely and taken part in many Workaway exchanges, learning regenerative farming, gardening, and practical skills along the way. He enjoys hands-on farm tasks, picking up new skills, and playing guitar and singing by the fire. He speaks French, English, and German. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
By taking part in the daily life of the farm, you'll learn practical skills such as gardening, animal care, land management, small building projects, and how to help with the seasons and adapt to nature's rhythms.
Beyond the farm, this region has a rich cultural life, especially during the warmer months. There are farmers' markets, concerts, festivals, and local celebrations almost every day of the week, as well as many alternative and sustainable communities with people from all over the world. We enjoy introducing Workawayers to the area whenever possible and sharing the places and events that make this region so special.
As for us, we both speak several languages and have traveled a lot over the past 10 years. We love to cook and to eat, to share stories and spend time in nature. We are both musicians and love to play with other people when we can. -
Help
The activities vary a lot depending on the season and what the farm needs at the moment. We are very adaptable and there are always little projects to help on.
Typical activities can include feeding and caring for the animals spaces, checking fences, gardening, planting, weeding, helping clearing the paths, cutting and storing wood.
We are looking for practical, motivated and independent people who enjoy helping outdoors and with their hands.
The main help needed at the moment is physical farm and land tasks, including:
•Clearing forest areas after storm (fallen trees, branches)
•Cutting, carrying and stacking firewood
•Clearing brambles and overgrown areas on the pathways
•Helping with animal areas (cleaning when needed, checking water systems, basic care)
•Moving manure to the garden
Some tasks we do together and at the same time, we value autonomy and are happy when people can take initiative and assist independently when needed.
*This is hands-on help in nature, often very physical, and best suited for people who feel comfortable with rural life and outdoor conditions.
**We are in a rural area, so having your own transport (car) is essential. There is no public transport directly to the farm, and shops, villages, and nearby activities are not within walking distance.** -
