In free time, there are an abundance of alpine hiking trails to explore, seven pristine lakes to swim, fish, and even canoe in! Wildlife such as Mountain Goats, California Bighorn Sheep and Mule Deer frequent the high alpine ridges and meadows. High amongst the rocky outcroppings hikes are likely to see large Hoary marmots or perhaps the shy Pica.

Only those people with an appreciation and interest in mountains, the outdoors, hiking, fishing, climbing, and living in a remote environment should apply.
