  House Manager Wanted – 6-Bedroom House
  
  Looking for a community centric gig in beautiful Madeira? We need someone to help keep our 6-bedroom home running smoothly in exchange for free accommodation and just a few of hours of work per day.
  
  Minimum stay: 2 months.
  
  What You’ll Do:
  1. Daily Upkeep (Tue–Sat):
  Spend up to an hour each day tidying common areas, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and keeping everything neat and welcoming. Water Garden (every day in summer) and handle light chores (trash, mail, small errands) as they arise.
  
  2. Weekly Deep Clean:
  Wednesday - Cleaning Day: Cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, living spaces, floors, and terraces. Saturday - Turnover day: Deep-clean vacant bedrooms, strip & remake bedsheets, and prepare rooms for incoming guests (friends & family that visit).
  
  3. Meal Planning/Prep:
  A huge plus but can be flexible around this. Looking for meal/ingredient/prep planning to help our days become smoother. GF meal prep experience welcome (one of us is GF)
  
  Community Connection:
  You’ll enjoy plenty of free time—all day Sunday and Monday off besides light work week of ~10h. Whether you’re craving a scenic hike, a buzzing co-working session, a community lunch, a local festival or live music, we’ve got you covered. We’ll hook you up with our digital-nomad crew and insider tips—then it’s up to you how you want to join the fun! 🌄💻🍹🎶
  
  What We Offer
  - Accommodation: Private room in our 6-bedroom house with shared bathroom when guests are here, utilities included.
  - Stipend: A modest weekly payment for your efforts, tbd
  - Flexibility: Only ~20 hours of work per week (or ~40 if you want full-time)

  You’ll have a cozy private bedroom on the bottom floor, complete with a comfy double bed and plenty of storage space. The bathroom is yours exclusively when there are no guests, and it becomes shared only when we have guests on the first floor—so you’ll still enjoy plenty of privacy.

  - Bus option to the city center (right next door), which takes about 6 minutes and costs roughly 1.95 EUR
  - Grocery store right across the street from home
  - Plenty of parks nearby
  - Have space if you would like to get a scooter or bike

  Madeira is a Portuguese island in the Atlantic ocean, which is also famous for its large digital nomad community.🏝️
  
  Public transport is readily available, making it easy for you to explore the island at your own pace. Local buses in the city cost 1.95 EUR, and buses outside of the city cost 5 EUR. 🚌🏄‍♀️
  
  NOTE! THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU IF: you do not like to do chores independently and on a schedule, or if you do not like to explore places independently! Also, the island is very hilly, so you need to be either willing to walk the hills or take the bus. Also, there aren't really sand beaches on Madeira. The island is very rocky! If you are coming to the island for sand beaches, this is not the place!
