Description
We are a family of 3, mother (44), father (52) and son (6). We are travellers and creative. We love to put our hands into manual things and learn every day. We love music, cooking healhy dishes, we love the snow and gardening.
Myself I am fond at interior design and I love sewing. I am interested in learning about upholstery and ecoprint.
My husband has a little carpentry lab for his spare time and plans to start doing wood toys 100% eco fiendly for kids one day.
We moved from Milan to our dream house on the Alps to live in harmony with nature and gaze at the surprising landscape all around.
Our house went through big renewal last year, but we still need to fix something on the external part and garden.
Here you can:
- enjoy the great view to the Alps and sun raises on the plain (we are on a hill)
- try the itineraries in the nature all around
- enjoy relaxed village life: Torre Pellice is a cosy nice little town (5.000 dwellers) with restaurants, bars, book shops, minimarkets, etc.
We offer comfortable and independent 50 m2 accommodation and bills coverage (energy, heating etc included). We don’t include food expenses, but we are happy to share meals here and there with our family whenever possible.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
We’re looking for help with a variety of tasks, and we’ll figure out what works best together based on your skills, preferences, our priorities, and of course—the weather and the season! 🌦️
Here’s an overview of what we’re currently working on, but the list might evolve as we complete things and new ideas pop up.
🪴 In the Garden
Fruit trees: Seasonal pruning
Mowing: Including some sloped areas
Brambles: Cutting or clearing here and there
Vegetable garden: Our veggie patch is still quite new and has lots of potential! We're open to ideas and advice, especially regarding biodynamic and low-water methods
Garden steps: We're in the early planning stages of building steps up to the vegetable garden, which is located a little uphill behind the house
Wild hedge project: We’re planning to cut a few trees and replace them with a natural, wildlife-friendly hedge
🛠️ Around the House
Fences: Sanding, repainting, or replacing
Shutters: Wooden window shutters can be sanded
Door fitting: We’ve just repaired a wooden door and need to fit it in its new location
🛣️ Road & General Maintenance
Occasional help with light maintenance along our private gravel road, such as:
Cleaning ditches of grass in summer, and leaves in autumn
After heavy rains, helping with some surface maintenance - we'll teach you how
We’re working on a chemical-free solution to prevent grass from growing between the stones of the paved section.
🐶 House-Sitting & Dog Help
We don’t need regular help here, but occasionally during summer we may ask for help with the dog or house-sitting. Please feel free to check with us about any specific dates.
🗓️ Scheduling & Flexibility
We’re super flexible!
The only thing we ask is that you're available on Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays—that’s when we’re also off work and can show you around, explain tasks, or work alongside you if you like.
Once you’ve been shown what’s needed, feel free to work at your own pace during the week, depending on your schedule.
We want you to feel comfortable, welcome to wander, and enjoy the freedom to get involved in the things needed that suits you best. Some things might already be done by the time you arrive—just let us know if you'd like an update on the current status!
We’re excited to get started and share this time together! 😊Languages

We have a cozy, self-contained 50 sq meter apartment at garden level, with a separate entrance and full privacy. When Workawayers are staying, the apartment is for their exclusive use, offering complete independence and comfort. It has been recently renovated, with just a few finishing touches left.
The apartment includes a living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, freezer, no oven sorry), a spacious bedroom with a double and single bed, and a bathroom with a spa tub.
There is no washing machine in the apartment, but you’re welcome to use ours. We live on the upper floor, so you’ll have your privacy but we’re nearby if you need anything. What else ...
We will be happy to be helped on around 24 hours per week (if solo traveller) or 18 hours per week per person (if couples), anyway we are flexible with the schedule that can be arranged together.
If a work needs our guidance, it should be done during lunch time over the week days or during weekends when we are free. If you are independent with the work, you can do it whenever it's better for you.
The rest of the time you can enjoy your spare time and relax!
