Description
We are Tiane and Larisa, and we live in a charming, remote eighteenth-century bergerie (shepherd’s house), about half an hour from Uzès and Avignon. We have been living here for nearly two years, seeking the right balance between nature and culture, as we both work in the arts.
Our home is surrounded by forests and organic vineyards, allowing us to spend most of our time accompanied by innumerable birds. We have an orchard, a vegetable garden, and a pool. When we are not working on our artistic projects, we devote our time to caring for the property and cooking delicious meals with local ingredients.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We share a strong passion for culture and nature, and we love exchanging ideas and experiences around these interests. We have a large collection of artists’ books dating from the 1950s to today, and we would be very happy to share this passion with our guests. With our combined background in book publishing, we also enjoy discussing and sharing knowledge about publishing practices and contemporary art.

Help
Our guests will mostly help with outdoor maintenance, such as gardening, mowing the lawn, cutting branches, and small house restoration tasks.

Accommodation
A comfortable queen-size bedroom with a private bathroom, and access to a shared kitchen.
We provide breakfast each morning, with the possibility of sharing other meals together as well.
What else ...
Our place is reachable only by private transportation, so we highly recommend that guests arrive with their own car or motorcycle. We do provide bicycles, though please note that the surrounding area is quite hilly.
There are many charming villages, trekking trails, and nearby rivers perfect for swimming. Smoking is not permitted inside the house, and we ask that there be no late-night noise, as we go to bed early and wake early, following the rhythm of nature.
We both play chess, and we organize movie nights if guests would like to join.
