Hi,
Built in recycled woods, the hostel offers accommodation mostly to European and Canadian traveler. The main building (reception, kitchen, bar) is very unique and original. It offers an extraordinary place where nature and smooth atmosphere are merging to ease nice discussions and great encounters. The team is also offering activities of cannyoning and sea fishing.
The helper can expect to participate in various task such as helping at the reception, cleaning or light manual work. We encourage people to touch everything but if you have specific competences (ex: arts, yoga ect..), we’ll manage to help you to express your talents. The work atmosphere is good and fun is there! Obviously, the team is salaried and different types of accommodation is offered for free (Camping, caravan, dormitory, private room).
We priorize long-terme helpers (2 months or more). Those will access adventure activities for free. Finally, to work with the public, we ask people to speak both french and english.

L’équipe de l’auberge est à la recherche de Workawayers pour la saison 2025 (mai à la mi-octobre). L’Auberge propose un hébergement en bois recyclé à une clientèle principalement et Canadienne et Européenne. Le bâtiment principal où se trouve l’accueil, la cuisine et le bar est totalement unique. Il offre un cadre de vie extraordinaire où la proximité avec la nature et l’ambiance sympathique favorisent les échanges et les belles rencontres. Nous offrons aussi des activités de canyoning et de pêche en mer.
Les Workawayers peuvent s’attendre à participer à diverses tâches d'aide (accueil des visiteurs, entretien ménager, travaux manuels). La polyvalence est de mise mais, si vous avez des compétences spécifiques ( travaux manuels, arts), n’hésitez pas à nous en faire part. Nous ferons de notre mieux pour mettre en valeur vos forces! L’ambiance est bonne et le plaisir est au rendez-vous. Évidemment, l’équipe est salarié et différents types d'hébergement est offert gratuitement (Camping, caravan, dortoire, Chambre).
Nous donnons la priorité aux Workawayers de longue durée (2 mois et plus) lesquels auront accès aux activités d’aventure de l'auberge gratuitement. Aussi, pour travailler avec le public, il est préférable de parler français et anglais.

The Workawayer will be able to spend time with local people and other travellers, be part of a lively team and participate in many local cultural events. During their free time, they will be able to enjoy the surroundings (our area is one of the most authentic fishermen communities) and the nearby Forillon National Park. The workawayers can enjoy the hostel adventure activities for free (canyoneering, fishing and paddle board). We are also offering training and relevant experience on several tasks within the tourism industry.

Les membre de l'équipe pourront passer du temps avec les locaux et les autres voyageurs, feront partie d'une belle équipe et pourront participer à de nombreux évènements culturels aux alentours. Pendant leur temps libre, ils pourront découvrir les environs et le Parc Forillon tout proche. Ils pourront aussi profiter gratuitement des activités d'aventure proposées par l'auberge (canyoning, pêche en mer). J'ai passé deux mois à l'auberge, puis ce fut une expérience extraordinaire. Je souhaite à tous de vivre une expérience comme celle-ci où tu crées des liens forts avec les autres "workawayers".
L'horaire est super, puisqu'en ayant 3 jours de congés collés, il facile de se reposer et de visiter la belle Gaspésie!
