    Description

Hi, my name is Mariam, I live in a village, Shroma, which is one of the biggest villages of Georgia. There is a Black Sea shore 5 kilometers away from my home, that has a magnetic sand and spectacular beach. I have a very big yard, with an old traditional house, where I live with my two kids, Ili (8 years) and Dai (6 year).

The project of this season is to revive the vegetable garden, so I'm looking for some help with working on the land. Besides, we're renovating the workshop space, which is designated for my small startup of handmade bamboo lanterns.

I'd also love to host someone creative, who could help with developing spaces in the yard.
I'd also appreciate our guests to be openhearted with children, understanding their needs and have some experience of spending time with them.

  • Help

    Help

I would love to use the help of a person who can participate in farm tasks during gardening season. I need help with preparing the soil, organizing the yard, plowing the land, helping with cooking, playing with children, designing spaces for children to play, and in general people who are good with their hands, who are generally creative and can make useless objects useful. I, myself, will host you and try to make your adventure magical and fruitful.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

I offer you a separate room in our wooden house, which can easily accommodate two persons (a couple), or friends who don't mind to share a double bed.

You have to consider that the village doesn't have a proper public transportation, but hitchhiking is very easy, and the house is 15 minute drive away from an active, busy national road and a train station.

The vegetarian food or the products will be provided by me, including local milk products (from the neighbors') and I expect the guest to sometimes help with the cooking as well.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

During their free time, the helpers can visit the hills of the village, read or work on their personal projects, if they like to travel, 5 km from our home is Ureki beach, we travel mainly by hitchhiking. It is also possible to visit Batumi or Tsikhisdziri, Botanical garden, discover rare plants that are contained in the red book of Georgia, see natural park in Maltakva, the estuaries, etc.

During the spring-autumn season, my upstairs veranda can offer a tranquil workstation with a view over the garden and a stable internet connection. The house is inhabited by two boys and there isn't a sound isolation or ideal privacy, so considering this conditions - digital nomads are also welcome to stay.
