The hostel is surrounded by gardens, plenty of Hammocks. We are one block from the beach. We owned the hotel for 21 years. We have 2 dogs one cat, birds, 5 turtles and a Kuzumbo

Learning the ways of tourism in a small fishing town surrounded by National Parks. Meet people from all over the world. in this fishing village. Take trips to Agua Blanca which is an indigenous village with a museum and archaeological site. You can go horseback riding in the dry tropical forest, take a hike around the site, and finish off the day bathing in the sulfur pool. Or Isla de la Plata, also referred to as “The Poor Man’s Galapagos”. The island (which is only 8 square km) is 40 km offshore from Puerto López and is inhabited by the blue and red-footed booby, Magnificent Frigate birds, albatross, pelican and other seabirds and Los Frailes, which is part of Machalilla National Park. It is a protected, pristine beach. One of the most beautiful beach in Ecuador.
Help
It is your basic home maintenance, Trimming the bushes, raking the leaves. general Maintenance is painting, sanding, picking up around the yard and cleaning. Working at the reception desk giving information and check inns and check out. Helping with Laundry and the Tourists.
You stay with us a week or months.
If you think working three hours a day is to hard for you please look somewhere else. Don't waste our time.

Accommodation
You will sleep in one of our Hotel rooms with hot water and views of the gardens. We usually have you work 3 hours a day for one night stay. And 2 days a week off. You can help in the morning or in the evening. At the hotel we have kitchen facilities so you can cook. Meals are not included.

Here in Puerto Lopez Ecuador we are surrounded by National parks and we are one block from the beach. May to September is the whale watching season. Isla de la Plata , Agua Blanca, Salango Beach. Salango Island, Los Frailes, Bola de Oro, Kayacs, bird watching. Power hang Gliding only in the high season.
