Hello Workawayers!
We're excited to embark on this journey as new Workaway hosts. Nestled in the serene heart of Sao Jorge, our home is an embodiment of the island's natural splendor. Every morning, you'll be greeted by a tapestry of gold and pink hues in the sky, harmonizing with the cheerful tunes of songbirds. Designed with attention to detail, our residence marries the quaint charm of traditional Azorean architecture with the comfort and luxury of North American design, ensuring spaciousness and warmth for all who stay.
While we cherish the tranquility of our surroundings, our days have a gentle rhythm. Our children immerse themselves in the local culture, attending a full Portuguese-speaking school or day care from 9 AM to 4 PM. Concurrently, my wife and I indulge in a daily ritual of heading to the gym between 9 and 11 AM, embracing both physical wellness.
Our primary objective in joining the Workaway community is to enrich our linguistic journey. We're eager to host individuals who can help enhance our Portuguese skills, all within a relaxed and collaborative setting.
